Who…am I?

A humble, creative, well rounded human, whose winding career path started long before ever punching a clock. Forming meaningful friendships, living life in the moment and soaking it all up like a sponge has somehow brought me here. Where it all leads? Life’s great mystery, I guess.

I’ve worked in a variety of professions and tend to stick with things for a good chunk of time. I had a career in the tech and services field, working as a Sr. Design Analyst for nearly a decade. I worked as a sportswriter for a couple years, covering local sports from high school to the pros. I delivered mattresses and worked on a landscaping crew in my younger days. Much younger. I even worked “security” at a concert venue in college before pursuing screenwriting and film editing for a three-year stint in Orange County.

My life’s given me a lot. Most notably my wife and two sons. They’re my everything. And everything else. Bringing happiness to them is what truly motivates me. It goes without saying, they’re my “Why.”

For the past 6 years, I’ve written an immense amount of copy for Nike. Everything I create aligns with the brand’s tone and style standards. It all goes through product and brand marketing approvals. It’s a collaborative process that I really enjoy. I’m all about the words, but in the end, I’m more about the humans and our ability to bring out the best in one another.

From sneakers to streetwear, all my current work can be found on Nike’s global SNKRS platform. If you’re interested, you can check it out there: (https://www.nike.com/launch)

This site provides some samples, but the train never stops rolling. And, I’ll never stop the pursuit to improve—as a writer and a human.
